Duh?? (Earths reality Vs Universal reality)

So after all these years of expensive research and Area 51 Hogwash this is what they have to say? Since you like rice and tofu, Doesn't mean your neighbor like it. Check out any Extraterrestrial movie and tell me whether theres any Alien who doesn't share the shape and form of a living being which exist on earth? They all have light receptors ( Eyes) Sound or vibration receptors, an opening on their face to make noises ( Even if they don't talk and is using telepathy to communicate, still it's a rip off , and its completely Earthly), Visible or invisible form ( Reader : Well Mr.Erratik , how come an invisible form can be regarded as ''Earthly''? ME : Take off your materialistic shades, and some how erect your flaccid mind), They are ALREADY ON EARTH!!!

No matter how big the head is or how slimy their skin or how weird they sound, nobody has been able to think of something completely out of the box ( Out of the Globe really). If the Ant ( or any other insect) never existed would we have ever come up with that form? If birds never existed would we have ever even thought of flying?

I think the core question lies inside how we define the term ''Invent''. Now the dictionary definition goes as ''Come up with (an idea, plan, explanation, theory, or principle) after a mental effort''-http://www.rhymezone.com/r/rhyme.cgi?Word=invent&typeofrhyme=def&org1=syl&org2=l

Realistically all we seem to come up with are purely new mixtures of already existing phenomenon. So its only natural for us to believe that every single life form out there should depend on water and they should all posses the earthly 6 senses (sight, smell, taste, touch, hearing, feeling/ Thought recognition) and their looks should resemble some kind of species that exist or existed on earth.

This doesn't mean that we are unique to the whole universe,and every single species should differ drastically compared to each other. There are infinite number of Human civilizations in the universe, and taking into account the size of it ,the chances of coming across another Human or an Alien civilization similar to us from a nearby galaxy is highly unlikely. But what's the possibility of coming into contact with a life form which is the total opposite to us or completely different than us? Slightly higher than a humanish species right? So what the hell were these scientists doing all this time,Other than coming up with new movie ideas for hollywood? All this time we were expecting the expected rather the unexpected right?

But then again it's better than doing nothing, i mean in a nearby parallel plane of existence, we might've already contacted an intelligent species using the same techniques. But unfortunately it just doesn't seem to happen over here.

We just can't take earths reality and consider it to be the divine truth spread across the whole universe. I think still we haven't reached the psychological escape velocity out of this mental solitary confinement. Theres a limit to the things that we could achieve with the current school of thoughts, and its just a matter of time since someone gets through.Then we'll all be like ''Ahhh so thats how it worked, how come i didn't get it yesterday?, feel really dumb now''

So let's all make a one last effort and help our good scientists who's working day and night non stop in hopes of contacting aliens and making them aware of our presence, Ok every one start screaming your lungs out to the count of 3;
